For twenty-five years Fairygodmother has been providing a quality, professional and friendly hire service second to none!
We have four shops based in the South East. You can visit our showrooms at Chertsey, Woking, High Wycombe and Oxford The shops offer thousands of costumes to hire, and also an extensive range of accessories, wigs and make up to buy.
The hire section has too much to choose from! We can cater for just about every Party Theme. Wild West nights ( Cowboys, Cowgirls, Saloon Girls, Indian Chiefs and Squaws), Beach Parties (Caribbean, Hawaiian, Pirates), Murder Mysterys,1920’s Nights , Medieval Banquets, 1970’s Disco Nights and Glam Rock dos! From ancient Egypt (Cleopatra) and Rome (Gladiators, Centurians and Senators) right up to the 1980’s our range of historic costume is extensive. Medieval costume includes Kings, Queens, Robin Hood, Maid Marion, Will Scarlet and all the Merry Men, Peasants and Princesses. Tudor (Henry 8th) and Elizabethan (Blackadder, Elizabeth 1st) 18th Century Gents (and Pirates), Stuart costumes (Musketeers, Ladies and Wenches), Regency costume (Nelson, Napolean and Josephine), Victorian Gents, Ladies and Paupers (Sherlock Holmes, Queen Victoria, Oliver Twist, Parlour Maids), 1920’s Gangsters, Molls and Flappers, 1940’s Blitz parties with wide variety of uniform and day/evening wear, 1950’s Rock and Roll nights with Teddy Boys, Drape Jackets, ladies Rock and Roll outfits, 1960’s Mary Quant, Sergeant Peppers, Austin Powers and more. For the 1970’s we have every kind of out fit you can imagine! Pimps, Hippies, Disco Divas, John Travolta, glitter dresses, Abba outfits, cat suits and all the glitzy platform footwear to match (or not!). Even the 1980’s is covered with Adam Ants, Freddy Mercury, New Romantics, Madonna, Tina Turner and much more...
