Description
Inspired by history, paintings and of course the fantastic Blackadder TV series.
- The dress is a structured and padded copy of a famous Elizabeth I gown as worn by Miranda Richardson in the series.
- It has silver and gold detail, very wide sleeves and a hoop built in to create the farthingale style made famous by this monarch.
- The ruffled lace collar stands up behind the head.
- Strings of pearls are worn around the neck.
- Wigs are available to buy or hire with this Queenie outfit, though they are optional.
- A small tiara, perhaps with pearls finishes the Liz I look.
A fabulous costume, you would certainly not be missed in this Tudor show of importance. It makes a great couple with Blackadder, and you never know we could probably provide you with a Melchett, Nursey or Balderick!
